Our Services

Remanufacturing/Repairs

Unlike some of our competition, our repairs are completely done in house. We offer several repair options to choose from (full stainless steel clad on the inside of most pumps to partial clad, i.e. cones, rings on rotor and rings on outer shrouds).

Manufacturing Pumps

We can manufacture new pumps to OEM specifications.

Parts and Supplies

Armstrong Pump has an inventory of cast iron and stainless steel parts – rotors, cones, packing glands, and bodies for most pumps.

Product Testing

We offer dynamic balancing for rotors and shafts. Also vacuum testing - our in house test stand allows us to test almost any model vacuum pump with controlled flow rate and RPM to determine the pumps capability

On Site (Fiberscope) Pump Inspections

Our experts will come inspect your existing pump, a full write up will be provided regarding the condition/performance of the pump. During your on site inspection (by a trained technician) a fiberscope inspection will be done to estimate the capability of a vacuum pump and give the ability to visually observe the inside of your pump

Pump Storage

Our facility is large enough to store pumps until our customers are ready to receive them.

BEFORE

This rotor has hard layers of calcium buildup through out all the blade buckets. There are corroded and washed out areas which negatively affects the pumps capacity. This quality is how many pumps arrive at our facility.

AFTER

After extensive sand blasting which removed the buildup and cleaned the rotor. This rotor needed new material applied through welding which would ensure no integral areas were washed out.. After welding, This rotor was machined, cleaned up and coated with a special ceramic coating then checked verify all original equipment manufacturer specifications were met.
